1. Life Line
The life line can give us to clues to health problems and life quality. Depending on which other line it touches it can give clues to what sort of problems, if it close to the head line it can indicate mental health issues. Also we can see what sort of childhood we have had by looking near the top of the life line, just above where the thumb is joined to the hand. Broken lines near the top of the life line that touch the headline can indicate a very difficult childhood.
2. Head Line
The headline refers to mental ability and can show how we cope with life in general. If the headline is not touching the lifeline it can suggest we will be able to cope with most things in life.
3. Fate Line
The fate line shows how much control we have in our life's, if it is very close to the life line it can indicate much of our life is influenced by our parents. A long deep fate line can suggest that you have good control of your life, where as a fate line with many breaks indicates your life is in fates hands, in the sense that things happen for a reason and you seem to have no control over what happens. This is where the term "The Hand Of Fate" stems from.
4. Heart Line
The heart line relates to love and emotions and whether we let our hearts rule our heads and vice versa.
5. Apollo Line
The Apollo line indicates how well we do in life in the form of success, fame and fortune.
6. Relationship Line
The relationship line is just that, it indicates how many long term relationships that we may have in our life's. Broken lines can indicate rocky relationships and divorce. The lines do not necessarily mean marriage they also represent long term relationships.
7. Child Line
The child line indicates how many children we may have. It does not necessarily mean that we may give birth to these children they could be adopted or from another relationship.
Note: These meanings are general there is a lot more to palmistry. I could write pages and pages of information on palmistry but I like to keep things simple. This is just to give you an idea of how palmistry works and to get you started, again both hands should be considered.
